About project
Furniture Fair is proud to have partnered with DUI Projects on a strategic initiative for the Department of Education, contributing to the development of the Mangaung Technical Vocational Center in Bloemfontein.
In response to the center’s need for durable and functional furnishings, we provided a wide array of versatile, user-friendly solutions. This included multi-functional desks, ergonomic chairs, recycling bins, and lockers, all thoughtfully designed to support the practical demands of a technical learning environment.
One of the highlights of this project was our design and manufacture of KIKA drafting tables, meticulously crafted to facilitate precision in drafting and technical drawings. These tables are specifically tailored to meet the needs of students engaged in hands-on technical education, ensuring they have the best tools to foster their growth and expertise.
The Mangaung Technical Vocational Center plays a pivotal role in advancing South Africa’s educational and vocational landscape. From Grade 8 onward, learners are presented with the opportunity to obtain multi-certification in a variety of technical fields, including welding, automotive repairs, plumbing, construction, refrigeration, and biomedical equipment maintenance.
This project underscores our commitment to providing high-quality, practical furniture that not only enhances the learning environment but also supports skill development. We are honored to contribute to a facility that will equip students with the competencies necessary for future careers in technical and vocational fields.
At Furniture Fair, we remain dedicated to delivering exceptional solutions that meet the evolving needs of educational institutions, and we look forward to continuing our role in similar projects that promote growth and learning across the country.
