Interior Design Project at Mediclinic Bloemfontein

When Dr Flooks approached us for an interior design project for his practice, we were thrilled. Our team was given the freedom to create a space that was not only aesthetically pleasing but functional for his patients as well. We were given a brief to use a grey, gold, and cream color palette for the design.

In the reception area, we kept the L-shaped couch that Dr Flooks had custom made, but we reupholstered it to fit the new color scheme. We played around with different seating options to ensure that the waiting area was comfortable and inviting for his patients. To add texture and personality to the space, we used marble and customised signage on the new reception counter. We also had custom notice boards made to add a finishing touch to the office’s design.

We added a consultation room to give clients extra space to speak with family or other doctors. We wanted to create a warm and welcoming space, so we added wallpaper and a beautiful light fixture.

For Dr Flooks’ office, we used the shell range, which was the first in Bloemfontein. Our client loves reading, so we made sure to add extra space for his books. We also kept everything minimalistic to make it easy to access for patients in wheelchairs.

Working with Mediclinic Bloemfontein was a pleasure, and it helped us to complete the project within the given deadline. We made sure to use high-quality materials to ensure that the design would last for years to come. We hope that the new interior design helps Dr Flooks’ patients feel at ease and comfortable during their visits to the practice.
