When Wenkem approached us again after the success of a previous project, little did we know that a transformative journey awaited us. Their acquisition of a new office building sparked the desire for a comprehensive update, focusing on creating a more welcoming and user-friendly environment.

The initial layout of the office was restrictive, prompting us to strategize a design that would enhance client interactions and overall usability. Collaborating closely with the Construction company Tau Pele, we embarked on a mission to revitalize the space.
With no strict colour instructions, we decided to infuse the brand’s essence of green and blue into a natural, earthy colour palette. Wood and steel elements were chosen to bring a sense of authenticity and harmony to the environment.
Working with Tau Pele, we initiated a clean slate by removing original doors, dry walls, and unappealing brickwork. This provided the foundation for a fresh, modern canvas.

The focus on comfort and efficiency guided our selection of ergonomic chairs for office spaces from Entrawood, Woodebender for client seating, and Hertex fabrics for cushions and decor carpets. Entrawood provided the sleek desking, contributing to the overall aesthetic.
Graphic and Sign Worx was pivotal in elevating the brand’s visual identity through custom-made signage, leaving a lasting impression on clients entering the building.

A unique challenge presented itself as our client requested the preservation and integration of their original 35-year-old boardroom table. We restored accompanying chairs, ensuring a seamless blend of the old and the new.
All artwork was sourced from a talented local artist to infuse the space with a sense of locality and add an authentic and personal dimension.

The project spanned a year, from the initial planning stages to the installation day. Collaborating seamlessly with suppliers and receiving invaluable support from Tau Pele Construction, the result reflected a harmonious blend of vision and execution and finishing a month before our initial date!
The Wenkem office revamp is a testament to the power of collaboration, thoughtful design, and a commitment to creating spaces that transcend functionality to evoke a sense of purpose and identity.
